Download for MacWhat it won't do
Your saves are a list of what you care about. Guardados keeps that list yours:
- No AISearch and folders run on plain keyword rules. You can paste your own Gemini key to refine them; without it, nothing goes to any AI.
- No accountNothing to sign up for. You log in on instagram.com and tiktok.com themselves, inside the app.
- No passwordYou type it into Instagram's and TikTok's own pages. The app never sees or stores it.
- No priceFree and open source, MIT licence.
- No server that can read itWhat goes to your phone is sealed first. Scroll down.
To your phone,
sealed on the way.
- Sealed on your Mac.
Before anything leaves, the Mac locks it with AES-256-GCM (Apple CryptoKit). Only what changed gets packed.
- A box the server can't open.
A small Cloudflare Worker keeps the sealed packages. It never gets the key, so all it holds is noise.
- The key goes by QR.
Press
Conectar el móviland scan. The key rides in the link's # part, which browsers never send to a server. - Your phone opens it.
The same library, searchable, at nachosanbenito.com/guardados.
Folders on their own
Recipes, trips, workouts, bars, cafés: sorted by keyword rules in Spanish and English. Move anything by hand and your choice wins.
Every place on a map
Restaurants and spots are read from the caption and found with Apple Maps.
Picks up where it left off
Every Instagram save and TikTok favorite comes in through the real sites. If the network drops, it resumes.
Your saves, back where you can find them.
Download for MacMac
Download .dmg macOS 11+, Apple Silicon and Intel, 21 MB.
Source
See it on GitHub MIT. 50 tests and 18 security checks run on every build.
Install on your Mac
About a minute. Step 3 happens only the first time.
-
Drag it into Applications
Open Guardados.dmg and drag Guardados onto the Applications folder.
-
Open it. macOS stops it. Click Done.
macOS says Apple could not verify “Guardados” is free of malware. It says that about every app that isn't notarized by Apple. Click Done, not Move to Trash.
-
Open Anyway, once
Open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down to Security and click Open Anyway next to “Guardados” was blocked. Confirm with your password or Touch ID. From then on it opens with a double-click.
- Then: import
Log in on the Instagram and TikTok windows and press Importar ahora (import now). The app speaks Spanish for now.
Why the warning? Notarizing an app needs a paid Apple developer account ($99 a year). This is a free side project, so it isn't notarized. The full source code is on GitHub, and you can check that your download is exactly the file I built. In Terminal:
shasum -a 256 ~/Downloads/Guardados.dmg
should print c33ae2824d913ad0f750526294e088dd7bc8c97a4f73bd8757ffc2f3fe6c35f2
